Build before pretending.
Working prototypes expose what diagrams and conversations often hide.
ROBOTICS × RESEARCH × EXPERIMENTAL ENGINEERING
Al Amin Sani is a student engineer and researcher working across robotics, experimental systems and engineering research.
My work moves between autonomous machines, electronics, computer vision, marine systems and experimental hardware — usually wherever there is something difficult worth understanding.
WHO IS AL AMIN SANI?
Al Amin Sani, sometimes written as Alamin Sani, is a young engineer, roboticist and researcher based in Bangladesh.
My work moves between robotics, electronics, computer vision, mechanical systems and experimental science.
Most projects begin with something I do not completely understand yet. The process is simple: learn the missing part, build a version, test it, understand what failed, and build again.

A failed test becomes useful when it improves the next decision.
Real systems rarely care where software ends and hardware begins.
A selection of projects across aerial systems, agricultural robotics, experimental physics and autonomous marine engineering.
BANGLADESH ARMY / DRONE ENGINEERING
Electrical engineering work on a drone platform developed with the Bangladesh Army, where I worked as the electrical lead.
AGRICULTURAL ROVER
An agricultural rover developed to explore technology-assisted farming and field automation. AgroDoctor received a Gold Award and Special Award at WICE.
BEAMLINE FOR SCHOOLS
An experimental particle detector developed while preparing for Beamline for Schools, combining detector hardware, electronics and repeated prototyping.
AUTONOMOUS SURFACE VEHICLE
An autonomous surface vehicle designed for the RoboBoat 2026 competition, where I worked as the team's Mechanical Lead.
Team shortlisted in the international particle-physics competition.
Gold Award + Special Award at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition, Gold Medal at the Innovation World Cup, and Bronze Medal at the International Science and Innovation Fair.
Mechanical Lead for DoB Joljan, an autonomous surface vehicle designed for the international RoboBoat competition.
Recognition for innovation, engineering and project development.
ANOTHER KIND OF PROBLEM SOLVING
Competitive chess has been another constant: calculation, pressure, pattern recognition, patience and knowing when an apparently reasonable move is wrong.
I hold the Arena FIDE Master title and have competed in national-level tournaments.
