Beamline for Schools
Led a team shortlisted in the international particle-physics competition while developing experimental particle-detector hardware.
Al Amin Sani's work has been recognized across international and national competitions in robotics, engineering, research and innovation. This page records the results, responsibilities and projects behind that recognition.
Led a team shortlisted in the international particle-physics competition while developing experimental particle-detector hardware.
Gold Award and Special Award recognition, including work connected to the AgroDoctor agricultural robotics project.
Gold-medal recognition in international innovation and engineering competition.
Bronze-medal recognition in international science and innovation competition.
Winning results across national science, engineering and robotics competitions.
Built a drone platform for the Bangladesh Army and served as Electrical Lead for its electrical systems and hardware integration.
Mechanical Lead for DoB Joljan, our autonomous surface vehicle designed for the international RoboBoat competition.
Recognition for innovation, engineering and project development.
Beamline for Schools pushed my work deeper into experimental physics and detector development.
I led a team shortlisted in the 2025 international competition while working on particle-detector hardware, electronics and experimental design.
The project also changed the standard I apply to technical work: a claim needs evidence, a measurement needs a reliable instrument, and an unexpected result needs to be investigated.
View detector projectCompetition results are an important part of my record. Engineering has also put me in positions where the result depended directly on the system I was responsible for.
For the Bangladesh Army drone project, I served as Electrical Lead and worked directly on building the aircraft's electrical systems and integrating the hardware required to make the platform operational.
For RoboBoat 2026, I worked as Mechanical Lead on DoB Joljan, our autonomous surface vehicle, taking responsibility for the mechanical side of a larger multidisciplinary system.
The medals demonstrate competitive results. These projects demonstrate something different: taking ownership of a real engineering system and delivering my part of it.
Bangladesh Army droneEarned the Arena FIDE Master title through competitive chess.
Tournament winner.
Multiple wins and competitive results across national-level chess tournaments.
Awards, medals and titles record moments when the work succeeded under competition.
I value that record. It represents years of building projects, presenting ideas, competing internationally and nationally, leading teams and repeatedly putting engineering work in front of judges, researchers and other competitors.
Every result also becomes a reference point for the next project: build something more capable, test it more rigorously and take on a harder problem.
